Cakes that Capture the Imagination

If you want to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, then break out of the mold (no pun intended)! Ditch the traditional cake and go for a conversation starter. It's easy, especially with the large array of options available in the market.

Dainty little profiteroles, artistically stacked together, also make a delicious alternative to the traditional wedding cake.

Glam up the humble doughnut by glazing and grouping them together to form a large cake-like structure.  This interesting and very contemporary alternative to the traditional cake would make a great conversational piece.

Frosted or iced cupcakes rise to the occasion, forming a merry-go-round on every tier. Your guests will be charmed and the kids delighted at the prospect of having a ‘slice’ of a towering structure of cupcakes.

You can work with your favourite baker to create a cake in any shape or form to suit your personality or the theme of your wedding. From traditional square, round and hexagonal shapes, to whimsical creations fashioned after objects of your fancy, this option will most definitely cause a welcomed stir among your guests.

Be inspired by the intricate designs of fabric – your cake can be designed to look like printed fabrics, laceworks, embroidery, and more. If you are enamoured by a specific fabric design, show it to your baker, she may be able to recreate the design for you. And just like a beautifully-embellished gown, your cake may be adorned with satin ribbons, pearl-like beads, and such.

Go on, run with your imagination! Make yours a wedding cake that is a candy for the eye as much as it is for the palate.
