The Basic Necessities to Preserve the Moments

With so many photography packages out there, it’s easy to be overwhelmed by the seemingly endless choices available. The good news is that most of them usually provide some basic items. Let’s take a look.

Let’s do this! Photo by IDO Weddings. Wedding of Jingjing and Keith.

TIMING
Most packages specify a limited time (around 10 hours of service), after which overtime rates will apply.

COVERAGE
Digital photographers normally provide unlimited digital coverage. For those using film, they will specify the basic number of rolls, beyond which per roll rates apply.

ALBUMS AND FRAMES
The package will specify the number of prints, number, and type of albums, and number of frames.

SOFTCOPIES AND NEGATIVES
Most photographers include a set of digital photos on a CD-ROM. If it is not stated, check with the photographer on the option to purchase. Policies vary among merchants.

VIDEOGRAPHY, TOO!
Some studios offer videography at attractive rates together with photography services. Assess their individual strengths before going ahead with the combined package.
